Mis Zapatos (Japan), one of our key customers, ordered bright, feminine fashion shopping bags in 100% white micro-peach fabric, with a floral design applied by heat sublimation printing to create a beautiful pattern, designed for carrying everyday items. The zipper pulls on the storage compartment are stamped with the Mis Zapatos name, and the black shoe motif is hand screen-printed onto the fabric, producing a crisp, beautifully raised print. The interior is lined with thick, soft fabric on a generously sized bag — waterproof, dustproof, tightly sewn inside, and built to last. The front of the bag features gold metallic-thread embroidery worked in a circle, with three passes of stitching for beauty and durability, securely attached to the bag exactly as the customer specified. The order was for 15,000 bags with a production lead time of 60 days after the customer sent the purchase order (PO).
The production process began with the customer asking us to estimate price and lead time. We produced a sample bag and submitted it with a quotation and production schedule within 5 days. We had to compete directly with manufacturers in China, and we won the bid on both price and lead time — we are confident we won because we own our own leather-embossing and embroidery facilities, giving us full control over cost and schedule. Once the customer confirmed the order, we began by bringing fabric, hardware, raw materials, zipper pulls, leather, and thread into the factory. With materials ready, we cut the fabric to the bag pattern, then sent it for embossing and embroidery of the Mis Zapatos logo — the embossing block for the Mis Zapatos logo had already been made at the sampling stage, which keeps production fast; the difficult, slow step is producing the customer’s sample. After the logo embossing and circular embroidery were finished, we assembled the bags, finishing with the double-belt shoulder strap and the printed front panel sewn onto the finished bag. After sewing, the bags went through quality control (QC) and packing, and our shipping department sent the order by air freight to Mis Zapatos in Osaka, Japan. The customer requested 45-day credit terms for billing; when the 45 days were up, we submitted the documents by email and the customer wired payment from Japan directly to our company account. This customer has placed their trust in us for more than 30 years.
